Evolution of Recorded Video
In 1878, the first groundbreaking idea that led to a motion picture came to be. Cameras were set to go off at different moments in order to capture photos that would later be pieced together. They tested this newfound idea on a horse galloping to solve the question "Are all four of a horse's hooves ever off the ground at the same time while the horse is galloping?" The video proved that they were all off the ground at the same time at one point.

The" Roundhay Garden Scene" is the oldest known video. It came from French inventor and director Louis Le Prince. This is considered the first film of constant motion. It starred his oldest son. It was shot in Roundhay, Leeds, West Yorkshire, England.

First Color FilmThe first color film was made in 1902. It was made by inventor Edward Raymond Turner.
CGI in Films

CGI started to be used around the latest 1970s, Toy Story was the first movie to be made completely with CGI. Star Wars used CGI heavily in the prequel trilogy. James Cameron's Avatar is famous for its highly detailed CGI.
